- Q: I have not received any mail from my Soldier in a long time. Is he okay?
- A: Your Soldier is fine. If your Soldier were in any serious danger of losing life, limb, or eyesight, you would be informed by telephone immediately. Soldiers are given plenty of time to write home. If you have not received any letters from your Soldier, it is probably due to the fact that they have been in the field or doing some other training that prevents him from mailing his letters. He will be able to send them when he gets back to the company training area.
Oh cool, that makes me feel better . . . NOT!
A Soldier's Mom
This is a journal about my experiences as a soldier's Mom. My son gradated OSUT at Fort Benning in October 2013. He is currently stationed at Fort Carson, CO.
